About Me
My name is Luz Gonzalez, but those who know me best call me Lu or Luli. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, surrounded by its vibrant and welcoming culture that shaped my view of the world. From an early age, I discovered a love for sports, believing that staying active nurtures both a healthy body and a resilient mind. Track and field was my passion, and I pursued it until the age of 19, when my life took a bold and transformative turn.
In August 2022 I moved to the United States and began my studies at Florida International University (FIU). Leaving behind everything I cherished was challenging, but life is about embracing change, so I welcomed this new chapter with opened arms and I grew both personally and professionally ever since.
I am now the excecutive producer of FIU’s Spanish Newscast, where I lead a talented team in creating engaging news content. I realized leadership roles come naturally to me—I thrive when teaching, directing, and guiding others toward success. What's more, I worked as a Social Media Specialist and Publicist for Rita’s Italian Ice, where I learned how to craft captivating content and connect with audiences.
My creative journey has been filled with exciting projects, such as a mini-documentary, myriad photo essays, podcasts, and works including motion graphics. I have developed hands-on experience with professional television and film equipment, from cameras to lights and microphones. In addition, my skills extend to marketing campaigns, graphic design, and web development — but at the heart of it all is my passion for fashion.
Inspired by my mom, I’ve always seen fashion as a form of storytelling and self-expression. While I once dreamed of modelig, I now discovered my true passion lies on creating content that captures the art of fashion and connects with people, sparkling imagination.
Every step I’ve taken so far has been driven by a love for new adventures. My story is still being written, and I can’t wait to see where creativity and connection lead me next.
